I just installed this yesterday. Looks very good so far. Used installer net then picked local zippos. You may know same unit is sold with head phones in Costco for $700, don't know why!! Even Costco uses installer net.

FM trans. works fine for sound. There is static but very less you feel it when there is no sound in movie, I have honda odys 2010 for old/other cars not sure.

I purchased this DVD player after having two best buy overhead DVD players that were expensive and more problems than anything else. This DVD player is better built and with the install card, it was much cheaper to purchase and have it installed. I am so glad I went this route.

I had just about gone back to best buy, but the quality of their low end players was horrible.

The screen is brighter than I expected in the daylight. The player has played every movie so far and that includes a couple of DVD R movies. The screen is a good size. The remote works well. The FM tranmitter works well, but you need to make sure you leave the volume up on the player. Turning it down may cause some confusion as to why it's not playing through the vehicle speakers. We already had the IR headphones and they have worked very well with the player. Overall, I am just all around very pleased with this player.

I don't think you can beat it for the money and I don't know why anyone would want anything better. -- Better than Best Buy options

Picture quality is good. Plays DVDs fine. Does not come with head phones (I knew that when I ordered). Also, my unit didnot have the "play from last location" memory as it states in the owner's manual. So, the DVD start from the beginning everytime I shut the car down. If it wasnt for this last played location memory issue, I would have given it a 5. -- Not bad for the price paid for a 10.2" unit

I purchased this overhead monitor and installed it myself. It was a bit technical to install. I am impressed by the quality of the unit. It feels solid and should be durable. The screen is large and my kids like it better than the dual screen (strap onto your headrest) unit we bought from Walmart. I am impressed how well the FM modulator works and sounds on the stereo. It was nice not having to wire up the stereo. The controls are straight forward and easy to use. It plays DVD's just fine. I haven't tried to use the USB or SD port to play a video, but I don't have high expectations. Overall, this is a great overhead dvd player for your car, and at a great value!!! -- Excellent Value for a good product
